Staff Recruitment Policy:
- The Firm recruits, persons having commerce background preferably with account/Audit work experience and preference is given to person’s perusing professional education.
- Particularly, senior positions should always be broadly advertised. Advertisements are based on the job description indicating required education level, work experience, and other relevant requirements.
- Firm carry outs the initial screening of the applicants and short list the appropriate candidates for two tier test namely written test and interview.
Promotion Policy:
- Firm carries out the annual written performance appraisal of the staff.
- Performance appraisal reflects the daily working pattern of every staff and supervisors over the year, including any variance between actual and expected performance.
- Firm has developed the “Performance Appraisal Form” which to be used for the evaluation of performances, acts, or incidents on the performance of the job as per the guidelines and job description for the concerned employee.
- Performance appraisals are conducted every year. Following matters must be covered in the appraisals:
- Improve staff performance,
- Motivate staff through identifying and rewarding good performance,
- Encourage staff participation in the review of work
- Assess employees’ achievements against their plans and identify eventual constrains to effective performance
- Assess employees assigned tasks and its successful execution (or non execution, as the case may be)
- Identify and address training/development needs of employees,
- Identify strengths and personal abilities of employees,
- Provision of a fair process for decisions on salary increment and promotion.
- The performance appraisal must be signed, commented, and dated by the staff, his/her immediate supervisor, and finally approved by the senior partner of the firm.
Continuing Professional Education/Training Program:
Firm has primary responsibility for identifying the training needs of staff and the training need identification takes place continuously and during the annual staff performance appraisal. While selecting candidates for training courses it is very important to ensure that he/she has demonstrated competence and ability through previous work experience with the programme
Continuing Professional Education/Training is given to the staff members in following ways:
- Sponsoring to various Seminar/Workshop/Conferences conducted by the various institutions.
- Briefing on changes made by Finance Act in the month of Shrawan of every year;
- Orientation to newly recruited staff on the auditing standards, procedures and policy of the Firm;
- Orientation Program on training on new/amended Acts/Regulation;
- In-house and on-the-job Training;
- Sponsoring to Basis/Advance Accounting Training Program.
